Certate – the trusted brand for reliability and superior engineering skills concerning reel technology is advancing to the next level. Further improved functionality and even tougher, that is the Certate LT – made in Japan!
LT "LIGHT & TOUGH" CONCEPT
The principal of minimalism continues within the 19' Certate. Equipping LT Technology with enhanced sensitivity and power, is an achievement yet only realized within the Exist LT - now also the Certate LT joins. The compact body design houses an enlarged Tough Digigear and delivers a smoother and more durable running.
MONOCOQUE BODY TECHNOLOGIE
A true design marvel at reel construction – our Monocoque body offers an incredibly rigid frame, resistant to torque and distortion under load.
This stronger, single part structure is smaller on the outside but larger regarding the provided interior than conventional spinning reels. With no space required for screws, there is capacity and clearance for a supersized drive gear that covers around 85% of the body’s surface.
MAGSEALED TECHNOLOGY
The unique ‘space age’ technology cares for silky-smooth running and guarantees almost zero friction. It is a winding pleasure that anyone can appreciate especially with an even lighter ‘start up’ that is 15% more efficient than the previous version. Aside from that, DAIWA has perfected the reels water resistance and durability by blocking even the most micro level of impurities via the main axis.
TOUGH DIGIGEAR TECHNOLOGY
The drive gear in the Certate LT is the new, CNC cut Tough Digigear, a further evolution of Digigear II.
Within the gear's development with latest CAD technology, the impact of unexpected forces has been simulated to optimize critical issues. The high tensile strength and durability of Extra Super Duraluminium is strengthened further by ‘Cold-Sintering’ and by ultra precise ‘Machine Cutting’ to further elevate the performance of the gear.
This enables utterly noiseless winding rotation and a precision response to the angler’s delicate finger touch.
Together these three elements equip the Tough Digigear with an ultra-smooth running, which hasn't been felt before.
