Halco

The beginning of the Halco Tackle story takes us back to 1950, when Hal Cooper, an engineer by profession, started building metal lures and assorted fishing rigs in his back shed in Mosman Park, Western Australia.

Hal scaled up the business to a successful fishing tackle manufacturing company, until Neil Patrick purchased Halco in 1980, and began a program of aggressive innovation and expansion. Halco continued with the original product lines, but the expansion took Halco into the manufacture of a vast range of plastic and wooden lures as well.
